UX Maturity Evaluation

To evaluate UX maturity at LSQ, I applied models from both the Nielsen Norman Group and the McKinsey Design Index. These frameworks provided complementary perspectives, with the Nielsen Norman Group model assessing foundational UX competencies and integration levels, and the McKinsey Design Index focusing on design’s contribution to measurable business success. This dual approach allowed for a balanced evaluation of LSQ’s UX practices, identifying areas that drive value and those ripe for enhancement.

Based on this assessment, I created an executive summary that not only highlighted LSQ’s current UX maturity level but also recommended targeted actions for continued growth. By outlining a strategic path forward, the document offers LSQ guidance on advancing design adoption and integrating UX as a core driver of both user satisfaction and operational effectiveness.

Design System Migration to Figma

I led the migration of a design system library from Sketch to Figma, beginning with a comprehensive audit of the existing design system to identify areas for improvement as we transitioned. This audit revealed key opportunities to enhance consistency, efficiency, and usability, which informed our migration roadmap.

To streamline the process, I prioritized the creation of Figma assets based on the most frequently used patterns, ensuring that high-impact components were available first. I also created a backlog in Jira, detailing user stories in order of priority to track progress. As the product and process owner, I oversaw the backlog’s maintenance, coordinated tasks, and facilitated team alignment.

Our design process included a collaborative review phase where team members provided feedback and refinements before releasing components into production. This approach ensured each Figma component met quality standards and fit seamlessly into the design system, setting a foundation for efficient, consistent design across future projects.

Data Insights Integration

For LSQ’s FastTrack platform, I integrated analytic insights using Tableau, allowing clients to monitor cash flow and other critical financial metrics with ease. I developed a data visualization strategy tailored to LSQ’s needs, including a customized color palette to ensure clarity, accessibility, and a cohesive look across the platform’s analytics. By collaborating closely with engineering and the director of business intelligence, we achieved a seamless implementation that aligned with LSQ’s goal to empower clients. Now, LSQ’s clients can gain deeper insights into their financial data, enabling them to make informed decisions and manage cash flow more effectively.
